A forum for researchers of Long-Term Care Policy in Spain to discuss their work

The Observatory for the evaluation of public policies for Sustainable Long Term Care in Spain is a network of researchers linked to the International Long-Term Care Policy Network. The aim is to facilitate exchange between researchers working in this area and act as an interface with policy-makers and stakeholders. This blog will provide offer a platform for researchers on long-term care policy to explain their work and its implications in a way that is accessible and encourages debate with policymakers, providers and users of care and other stakeholders.

The Observatory was founded during a workshop entitled “Evaluation of public policies for Sustainable Long-Term Care in Spain” on the 4th and 5th of July 2013 at the RiskCenter at the Department of Economics of the Universitat de Barcelona. You can find the presentations here.

A second workshop, also hosted by the Risk Center at the Universitat de Barcelona, is planned for the 3rd and 4th of July 2014.
